Refresher Courses are recorded courses captured at past RSNA Annual Meetings. Most courses include an audio-visual presentation, as well as a corresponding transcript. The online Refresher Courses are free to members.

Objectives:
• Analyze the various causes, patterns of distribution and imaging features of non-traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage.
• Identify the different diagnostic pitfalls encountered in the initial assessment of patients with suspected subarachnoid hemorrhage.
• Assess the contribution of additional imaging (CTA, MR, DSA) as an integral part of the admitting evaluation of patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage.
• Identify neck infection on CT and MR.
• Describe the nature and the location of the infection.
• Explain the complications that may result from the infection.
• Review the epidemiology and pathophysiology of spine infection.
• Discuss the diagnosis of infectious spondylitis utilizing: clinical findings, imaging findings and biopsy.
• Distinguish infectious spondylitis from other radiographic mimics.
