OVERVIEW

JOPON CE: Clinical Characteristics of Intravenous PEG-Asparaginase Hypersensitivity Reactions in Patients Undergoing Treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia is organized by Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses (APHON) and will be held during Mar 01, 2018 - Feb 28, 2020. Learning Outcomes :
• The learner will be able to identify patient and treatment phase factors leading to greatest risk for developing an intravenous (IV) PEG-asparaginase hypersensitivity reaction.
• The learner will be able to distinguish between clinical characteristics of the four grades of infusion-related hypersensitivity reactions with PEG-asparaginase.
• The learner will be able to describe necessary nursing observations and patient monitoring during intravenous (IV) PEG-asparaginase treatment.
