44th Annual Diagnostic Imaging: Keys to Optimizing Radiology Interpretation is organized by Penn Medicine - Department of Radiology and will be held from Aug 05 - 08, 2024 at Harborside Hotel, Spa & Marina, Bar Harbor, Maine, United States of America.

Description:
This four-day course will provide tips for improving diagnostic skills in the interpretation of a wide range of commonly encountered exams, including Thyroid Sonography, Women's Imaging, and PET CT. There will be a particular focus on Chest and Abdominopelvic CT in the Emergency Department.  Each presentation was chosen to highlight imaging pitfalls and provide participants with practical tips that they can immediately incorporate into their practice.

Learning Objectives:
• Distinguish between benign and malignant findings on mammography and breast MR
• Apply ACR diagnostic criteria to adnexal (O-RADS) and thyroid lesions (TI-RADS)
• Identify surgical emergencies and complications on abdominal CT exams
• Diagnose acute pathology on sonographic imaging of the male and female pelvis
• Discuss the CT and MR appearance of abnormal genitourinary and retroperitoneal findings
• Diagnose acute aortic and cardiac pathology on CT
• Recognize pathology and diagnostic pitfalls on PSMA and FDG PET/CT and thyroid/parathyroid scintigraphy
• Understand the potential opportunities for artificial intelligence to impact radiology practice
