Primary Care – Pediatric Emergency Medicine Topics is organized by CME Seminars and will be held from Mar 20 - 24, 2023 at Hilton Garden Inn St. Pete Beach, St Pete Beach, Florida, United States of America.
Statement of Need:
The increasing number of acutely ill pediatric patients presenting to Emergency Departments and offices requires that clinicians be prepared to assess, diagnose, and expertly treat a wide variety of pediatric emergencies. Diagnostic and therapeutic practices continue to evolve, and patient care recommendations and guidelines continue to improve.
After participating in this activity clinicians should be able to:
• Evaluate factors that may mitigate the risk of missed diagnosis in appendicitis.
• Develop strategies to evaluate and treat pediatric patients presenting with various conditions in the emergency department.
• Determine risk factors for medication errors and utilize interventions to reduce their incidence.
Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
