The Odyssey Conference is designed to meet the current learning needs of nurses involved in the care of acute and critically ill patients, continuously advancing their practice while also fostering personal resiliency. The theme of this year's conference is “Act on Purpose," focusing on lifting nurses up to work together and meet the needs of their teams, patients, and families.
Objectives:
- Discuss practices in acute and critical care that impact the nursing workforce
- Describe patient and family experience with hospice staff following end of life experience
- Explain current methods behind transformational nursing leadership development at the bedside
- Review innovative strategies to ensure retention of critical and acute care nurses
- Examine methods of integrating best practices into technological clinical simulations
- Review updates on interpreting abnormal cardiac rhythms with new ECG developments
