Susan Haynes MEd, MSW, BFA

Susan Haynes, M.Ed., MSW, BFA, has been employed by the VCU Department of Surgery since 1990, Susan has spent the past 22 years in surgical education. Surgical simulation is her passion, and she enjoys implementing new curricula and hosting simulation activities. She considers it a privilege to have had opportunities to partner with surgical residents and faculty on several scholarly activities, including presentations, publications, and research, which can contribute to improved quality of care and outcomes for surgical patients. As a member of the ACS AEI Consortium, Susan has served as a member of the Patient Education Committee and currently serves on the Administration and Management Committee.
