DAG-DGESS 2025: The Joint Annual Conference of the German Obesity Society (DAG) and the German Society for Eating Disorders (DGESS) is organized by event lab. GmbH, German Association of Obesity / Deutsche Adipositas-Gesellschaft (DAG) e.V., German Society for Eating Disorders / Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Essstorungen (DGESS) e.V. and will be held from Oct 08 - 10, 2025 at House of business, Stuttgart, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany.

Theme: “Broadening Perspectives - Building Bridges”

Description:
We aim to intensify the interdisciplinary exchange between our disciplines this year. The prevalence of overweight and obesity, as well as eating disorders, has continued to rise in recent years – not least due to the living conditions and healthcare situation during the COVID pandemic. Addressing this challenge and addressing the complexity of obesity and eating disorders requires a holistic approach that considers diverse perspectives and creates connections between research, prevention, and treatment.

Our goal is to jointly develop new approaches to improve the care of those affected and raise public awareness of these diseases. A particular focus of our joint conference is to make the perspectives of people with real-life experience more visible. We also want to focus on attractive formats specifically for early-career scientists.

Let us build bridges together – between disciplines, between research and practice, and above all to the people affected by obesity and eating disorders.
