Ultrasound Interventions of the Spine and Masqueraders Bio-Skills Lab is organized by Spine Intervention Society (SIS) and will be held from May 20 - 21, 2023 at ASGE Institute for Training and Technology (IT&T), Downers Grove, Illinois, United States of America.

Description:
Explore the spine and non-spinal, referred-pain conditions that best lend themselves to ultrasound-guided (USG) interventional treatment; receive guided, hands-on instruction on operating ultrasound equipment; and get information on how to integrate this modality into your practice.

EXPERT INSTRUCTORS WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE IN GROUPS OF 6 ATTENDEE, HELPING YOU:

• Perform cervical medial branch and greater occipital nerve blocks on cadavers at a hybrid US/fluoroscopic imaging station.
• Practice suprascapular and intercostal nerve blocks and explore the anatomic basis for non-axial pain-generating structures including the glenohumeral joint, lateral femoral cutaneous nerve, intra-articular hip joint, intra-articular knee, and the trochanteric bursa on cadavers with US imaging.
• Scrutinize the anatomic foundations for stellate ganglion and intercostal nerve blocks, and explore the acromioclavicular (AC) joint, subacromial-subdeltoid bursa, and glenohumeral joint on live models.
