The 2nd International Conference on Indian Rural Public Health and Non-communicable Disease” is jointly organized by KMCH Research Foundation and KMCH Institute of Health Sciences and Research (IHSR), Coimbatore and will be held on June 23rd & 24th June at KMCH, Coimbatore, on the theme ‘Addressing the challenges of NCDs’ and ‘Prevention and Control of NCDs’ in rural India.
About the Conference:
The International Conference on Indian Rural Public Health and Non-Communicable Diseases aims to address the critical challenges and emerging issues related to public health in rural communities, with a specific focus on combating non-communicable diseases (NCDs). This conference brings together healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers, community leaders, and other stakeholders from around the world to discuss innovative strategies, share knowledge and experiences, and foster collaboration to improve the health outcomes of rural populations.
Rural communities face unique health disparities and challenges that require tailored approaches and targeted interventions. Non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, cancer, respiratory diseases, and mental health disorders are increasingly prevalent in rural areas, often exacerbated by limited access to healthcare facilities, socioeconomic factors, lifestyle factors, and limited health education and awareness.
The conference aims to provide a platform for participants to explore and exchange evidence-based practices, research findings, and effective interventions that address the prevention, early detection, treatment, and management of NCDs in rural populations. We welcome invitation for abstract submissions which is now open for poster and oral presentations covering current research and new progress. All contribution should be of high quality based on original research work; review articles will not be accepted. During the review period, abstracts will be reviewed by eminent scholars in the respective areas. The committee will decide the abstracts for oral presentation and will be intimated in advance.
