SIS Intensive Anatomy and Hands-On Fluoroscopic Correlation is organized by the Spine Intervention Society (SIS) and will be held from Jun 10 - 11, 2022 at the University of New England - College of Osteopathic Medicine - Department of Anatomy, Alfond Center for Health Sciences, Biddeford, Maine, United States of America.

This informative live activity is especially intended for physicians who do spine interventions.
Prior to moving on to cervical treatments and other advanced interventional procedures, the Spine Intervention Society highly encourages members to become adept in the lumbar spine.
Description:
This didactic course includes more than 8 hours of lab instruction, including hands-on examinations of professionally prepared cadaver sections and dissections. There are also lectures, breakouts, and discussions between the instructor and attendees.
Acquire more lavish skills and knowledge of the “hidden” implications and the anatomical basis upon which spine interventions are based.

Educational Objectives:
In order to complete this educational activity, participants will be better able to:
• Identify the relevant anatomy from the imaging depiction;
• Analyze the patient's history and physical exam findings in conjunction with imaging to determine the likely cause of the patient's pain or dysfunction;
• Provide a description of the literature supporting the efficacy of the procedures;
• Analyze the risks and advantages of each procedure, as well as the prevention, detection, and treatment of possible complications;
• Apply technically accurate performance of the spinal procedures employing safe fluoroscopic guidance with minimal tissue injury or discomfort.
