OVERVIEW

The 33rd Annual In Vitro Fertilization and Embryo Transplantation Conference: The latest comprehensive update 2022 is hosted by the UC San Diego Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Reproductive Partners Fertility Center-San Diego, Valencian Institute of Infertility / Instituto Valenciano de Infertilidad (IVI). This onsite medical conference will take place over the weekend of July 17-20, 2022 at Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa, Coronado, California, United States of America.

Target Audience:
This initiative aims at reaching physicians, fellows, and physician assistants as well as nurse practitioners, embryologists, and other healthcare workers who are involved in IVF.

Conference Description:
This conference is an educational opportunity for faculty from all over the globe to share the most current information about IVF and embryo management. It caters to practicing scientists, gynecologists, reproductive, residents, fellows, and others who wish to refresh their knowledge in this constantly changing and growing field.

This Year, special attention will be paid to the rapidly evolving trend toward deferred embryo transfers, stimulation strategies for poor responders and the role of mild ovarian stimulation, optimization of embryo cultivation, the roles of embryo fuel supplies and Co-Q10, optimizing embryo culture, optimization of embryo growth, the role of embryo energy sources, optimization of embryo cultures, the roles of Co-Q10 and mitochondrial function in aging mothers, difficult cases using ICSI, the critical importance single embryo transfer in maximizing perinatal immunogenetics, management of mosaic embryos and maternal immunogenetics and practical aspects of the transfer technique. Dr. William Schoolcraft will lead a mini-symposium on laboratory safety. It will discuss embryo self-correction, embryo quality, embryo screening without embryo biopsy, embryo quality improvement, embryo quality minimization, and embryo quality enhancement.


Highlighted Topics:
• Dr. Antonio Pellicer, professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Valencia in Spain as well as the creator of the Instituto Valenciano de Infertilidad (IVI) and co-editor of Fertility and Sterility, will examine new ways of reviving Oocytes in patients suffering from ovarian failure.

• Catherine Racowsky, PhD, professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Harvard Medical School in Boston and the current ASRM president. She will present an important lecture subject "Noninvasive preimplantation Aneuploidy testing using genetics in the spent medium could be more accurate than an examination of the trophectoderm".

• Juan Carlos Izpisua Belmonte, PhD, from the Salk Institute, will present a keynote speech titled "Precise in vivo genome editing for genetic disease correction: the world is on the verge of transformative therapies for inherited disorders."
This year's conference venue will encourage substantial interaction between speakers and attendees with Q&A sessions, panels, and numerous opportunities for informal interaction and allow for interaction with numerous exhibitors while enjoying breakfast and savoring some refreshments.
