Course Description :
Arthritis to Arthroplasties in Arizona: Is an advanced course for physician assistants who treat arthritis of the extremities and spine in adults and children. This course teaches the principles and techniques for the management of extremity arthritis and current concepts in surgical and non- surgical management.

Course Learning Objectives :
Upon Conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
 • Examine and apply basic scientific information and technical skills in arthroplasty
 • Update knowledge regarding current evaluation and treatment of arthritis of the upper and lower extremities and spine.
 • Review current practice management including proper coding, reimbursement, and state/national healthcare trends.
 • Develop new clinical and technical skills to improve the delivery of healthcare to patients with upper and/or lower extremities and spine arthritis.
