Carl Dain Allred MD

A Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, C. Dain Allred, M.D., is an orthopaedic and sports medicine surgeon with extensive experience in arthroscopy and complex surgery of the shoulder, knee and ankle. As Chief of Sports Medicine for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Banner University Medical Group, Dr. Allred provided orthopaedic and sports medicine services as the Team Orthopaedic Surgeon for University of Arizona Athletics, and Team Physician for American Hockey League’s Tucson Roadrunners.

With a passion for providing athletic care, Dr. Allred has vast experience working with many different professional, international and national athletic organizations. He served as Head Team Physician for the U.S. Dr. Allred is board-certified by the Arizona Medical Board, Colorado Medical Board and American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. A nationally-published and heavily awarded surgeon, Dr. Allred most recently received the 2017 Traveling Fellow award from the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
