Description:
Despite important advances, ILDs are still a highly demanding field, often involved in a complex diagnostic process, with expanding classification and continuous upgrading on diagnostic approaches and therapeutic options. Awareness of the difficulties of the diagnosis of ILD, and how to overcome them, allows earlier and accurate diagnosis, therapy optimization and prognostic improvement.

The objective is to present an overview of the field of Interstitial Lung Diseases (ILD) with a multidisciplinary focus appealing to several specialties, including radiologists, pneumologists, thoracic surgeons, internal medicine doctors, and radiographers.
