Degree in Medicine in 1993, at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto Complementary internship in Pulmonology at the Pulmonology Service of Hospital São João, (Porto, Portugal) between 1996 and 2002. Pulmonology Assistant at the Pulmonology Service of Hospital Joaquim Urbano (Porto) ) between 2002-2005. Pneumology Assistant at the Pneumology Service at Hospital São João (Porto) from 2006 to 2015. Graduated Pneumology Assistant at the Pneumology Service at Hospital São João (Porto) in 2016. Coordinator of the Interstitial Lung Disease Group Consultation since 2006 ( Saint John Hospital). Collaborator in the Pulmonary Hypertension Group Consultation since 2008 (Hospital São João). Collaborator in the Lung Cancer Group Consultation since 2008 (Hospital São João). In May 2008, he completed his Master's Degree in Medicine and Molecular Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto, with the dissertation 'HLA and inflammatory cytokines - genetic polymorphisms in the immunogenetic characterization of sarcoidosis'. In December 2015 she obtained her Ph.D. at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto, with the dissertation 'Diffuse Pulmonary Diseases: from Phenotype to Genotype'. Author and co-author of hundreds of communications and posters presented at national and international congresses, as well as 'peer review' articles published in national and international medical journals. He is the president of the Portuguese Society of Pulmonology (SPP). with the dissertation 'HLA and inflammatory cytokines - genetic polymorphisms in the immunogenetic characterization of sarcoidosis'. In December 2015, he obtained his Ph.D. at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto, with the dissertation 'Diffuse Pulmonary Diseases: from Phenotype to Genotype'.
