Attend this symposium that will focus on practical discussions of commonly encountered dilemmas in surgical pathology, dermatopathology, and cytology. The goal is to provide evidence-based guidance on the diagnosis and management of challenging cases in prostate disease, renal neoplasms, GI and medical liver disease, endometrial and uterine masses, gynecological cytology, lung cytology, head and neck pathology, and melanocytic and inflammatory skin lesions. Practicing pathologists, fellows, and residents who attend will maintain, develop, and increase their knowledge, competence, and professional performance with the intent to improve patient care and reduce disease impact.

By Attending, You Will Be Able To:

• Accurately evaluate pathology of salivary gland neoplasms and sinonasal tract tumors.
• Diagnose melanocytic tumors, cutaneous adnexal tumors, inflammatory dermatopathology, and spindle cell lesions of the skin.
• Identify precursors of endometrial cancer and non-endometrioid adenocarcinoma of the uterus, and use fine-needle aspiration to detect pancreatic masses.
• List techniques for evaluation and diagnosis of pathology of the genitourinary tract, prostate biopsies, and renal neoplasms, and describe the best evidence-based approach to transurethral resection of bladder tumors.
• Summarize key historic features of several gastrointestinal disorders including medical liver biopsies, cystic pancreatic neoplasms, challenging inflammatory bowel disease cases and complex GI consultation cases.
