Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association (APOA) Sports Meeting 2019 incorporating Orthopaedic Research is organized by Medical Conference Partners (MCP), Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association (APOA) Sports Injury Section, Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Research Society (APORS) and will be held from Apr 03 - 06, 2019 at Hilton Kuala Lumpur Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

On behalf of Dr Charanjeet Singh, Organising Chairman of the APOA Sports Meeting 2019, we are excited to announce that we are organising the APOA Sports Meeting incorporating Orthopaedic Research 2019 in Malaysia. This meeting is organised by the APOA Sports Injury Section and will be incorporating the Orthopaedic Research Section of the APOA.
This meeting will cover both shoulder and knee. The focus for the shoulder sessions will be on how to get our older population funtional. The focus for the knee sessions will be the latest in ligaments and cartilage surgery.
This will be a unique meeting which will involve more of discussions, debates, cadaveric demonstrations and live surgeries with the main goal of exchanging ideas and pratical experiences. There will be a concerted effort by the scientific committee to come up with a programme that moves away from the tedium of lectures to more pratical points in shoulder and knee sugreries and diseases.
You will gain practical information that will enhance your practice. Learn from experts that are practicing clinicians. As a delegate, come and meet directly with the line-up of experts during the breaks and at Meet The Expert sessions. There will be break-out sessions to provide plenty of opportunities for all delegates to have direct access to our panel of experts.
For this conference, we will be conducting live cadaveric demonstrations, workshops and lectures focusing on PCL / PLC and osteotomy for the knee, irreparable massive cuff tear options in shoulder and cartilage regeneration preservation.
One of the key objectives of this meeting is to provide opportunity for our young orthopaedic surgeons and young orthopaedic researchers to participate and present in the meeting. Therefore, we are taking the BOLD step to give away 100 Education Grants for Young Orthopaedic Surgeons and Young Orthopaedic Researchers to attend this meeting. This grant will cover Complimentary Registration and 3 nights shared Accommodation in selected hotel for the grant recipients. All they need to do is submit an abstract and apply for the grant before the closing date of 31st December 2018!
