31st Annual Scientific Congress of Malaysian Oncological Society (ASCOMOS) 2019 is organized by Malaysian Oncological Society (MOS) and will be held from Oct 31 - Nov 03, 2019 at Ipoh Convention Centre (ICC), Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. This Congress has been approved for a maximum of 20 CPD Points.

Description:
Malaysian Oncological Society chose Ipoh to host 31st ASCOMOS with a theme of “real world practice of oncology”. The theme is coined to focus on the actual practice in community oncology centers rather than at highly selected academic institutions in a restricted research environment. In randomized clinical trials, there are enormous restrictions in the recruitment of patients based on super-selective inclusion and exclusion criteria. However, in routine practice we see patients with a wide variety of clinical situations that may not match with patient care followed in research without any restriction of cost, multiple investigations, hospital visits, and quality assurance. In the real world scenario, especially in developing countries, we face numerous challenges while managing complicated cancer patients.

This is an annual congress of Malaysian Oncological Society. This year this conference being organized at Ipoh Convention Centre Ipoh city of Malaysia. The theme of this Congress if " real world practice of oncology". This congress is intended to oncologists, cancer surgeons, pathologists, molecular biologists, cancer researchers, nuclear medicine physicians, allied personnel in oncology and cancer survivors. There are 4 pre-congress workshops being organized on 31st October 2019 related to SPSS in Cancer Research, Brachytherapy in Gynecological Cancers, Medical physics and cancer nursing. Target participants are encouraged to submit their scientific contributions for eposter presentation during the congress.
