Target Audience:
The Imaging Workshop presented at the Advanced Emergency Medicine Boot Camp course is intended for Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and Primary Care Physicians who want an intensive focus on the interpretation of imaging studies obtained during the provision of urgent and emergent care.
Accreditation:
The Center for Emergency Medical Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 4.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Learning Objectives:
• After attending this workshop, participants will be able to:
• Correctly identify and address abnormalities on imaging studies of the adult and pediatric chest and extremities and the pediatric abdomen
• Correctly identify and address abnormalities noted on imaging of the spine
• Correctly identify indications for head CT scanning and address demonstrated abnormalities
• Optimize the provision of care for patients with urgent or emergent conditions who are appropriate candidates for imaging studies

• Identify the ECG characteristics of the brady- and tachycardias
• Recognize the ST-segment and T-wave characteristics of myocardial ischemia
• Identify potentially life-threatening ECG findings
