Overview

This course is designed to provide an important annual educational forum for Hematology and Oncology doctors. The ultimate objective of this activity is to enhance physician understanding of the disease state and treatment advances for the benefit of patients.

This course is intended for hematology/oncology practitioners, fellows, advanced practice providers and other healthcare professionals in the field.

Request for Case Submissions - When you register, you will have an opportunity to submit a case for discussion during the course. In order to prepare your submission, we ask that you provide a BRIEF summary of your case and include key lab results. Please ensure that all identifiable PHI has been removed. Cases should have an educational purpose. The course faculty will not be able to provide a detailed/complex consult review during the course and they will try to get through as many cases as possible.

Objectives

• Learners will become familiar with the state-of-the-art science and treatment of hematologic complications of pregnancy
• Learners will become familiar with the state-of-the-art science of the diagnosis and management of acute hemorrhagic diseases
• Learners will become familiar with the state-of-the-art science and management of hemorrhagic complications of anticoagulation
