Course Overview:
This Course is taught by expert dermatologists and excellent lecturers with the goal of teaching dermatology to the non-dermatologist. The course will consist of interactive lectures covering multiple aspects of dermatology including management of psoriasis, acne, skin cancer, actinic keratoses, rashes, moles and more. The information presented will be relevant to a broad range of non-dermatologists and primary care providers including family physicians, internists, pediatricians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. This course will allow these practitioners to feel comfortable caring for patients with skin conditions.

• Incorporate into daily practice evidenced-based recommendations on new therapies for common dermatologic diseases.
• Discern early signs and symptoms of psoriatic arthritis.
• Explain the roles of current therapeutic agents in the treatment of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.

• Integrate treatment approaches for the pediatric patient with common as well as severe skin diseases.

• Contrast the differences between cellulitis and stasis dermatitis based on recent literature reports.
