Conference Overview :
This educational activity will offer the primary care clinician practical approaches to the management of contemporary issues encountered in today's clinical populations. The conference has been designed to offer options for the attendees to obtain information most relevant to their individual practices by offering workshop choices. Throughout the day, participants will have the opportunity to become updated on current evidence-based guidelines, focus on practice-based learning and improvement, and network with colleagues.

• Appropriately recognize, evaluate and treat, according to evidence-based guidelines, the
following conditions: Lyme and other tick-borne diseases, pulmonary hypertension, adrenal
abnormalities, erectile dysfunction in CAD patients, movement disorders, common
dermatologic conditions, HPV-related cancers, celiac disease, allergies/asthma in pediatric
patients, common urgent care conditions and joint conditions amenable to in-office injections.
• Utilize updated guidelines for breast cancer screening and anticoagulant use.
• Recognize the role of the gut microbiome and integrative medicine for appropriate patients.
• Identify how to recognize and reverse heart disease.
• Recognize and apply ethics and health care policy related to pain.
