David Lick MD, MBA, MPH, FAAFP

David Lick, M.D., MBA, MPH attended The Ohio State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering. He then moved back to his hometown of Toledo, Ohio, and obtained his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio. He completed his family medicine residency at Beaumont Hospital, Troy, the Primary Care Faculty Development Fellowship at Michigan State University, received his MBA through The University of Texas at Dallas, and his MPH at Harvard University. After working in private practice for several years he rejoined the residency as a full-time faculty member in 2005 and has served as Program Director since 2009.

He has academic appointments through Wayne State University School of Medicine, Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine where he is a Professor and Vice Chair of Education. He serves as the team physician for Troy Athens High School and is active with the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM). His professional interests include hospital medicine, sports medicine, epidemiology, and procedures.
