Medical CBT Tools: Ten-Minute Techniques for Real Doctors is organized by Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) Canada and will be held from Dec 07 - 08, 2018 at McMaster University Waterloo Regional Campus, Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.

The CME is the acclaimed "triple strength" CBT Tools module (you'll earn 36.0 Mainpro+ credits from just 12.0 workshop hours). Join us and you'll learn a multitude of ultra-brief CBT techniques to make your work much easier with both medical and psychiatric patients.

Head instructor Greg Dubord, MD is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto and the prime developer of medical CBT. He has presented over 400 workshops, including over 50 for the College of Family Physicians of Canada, and is a University of Toronto CME Teacher of the Year. Assistant faculty includes the inimitable emergentologist Pankaj Chand, MD, CCFP(EM).

McMaster University's brand-spanking new Waterloo Health Sciences Campus is located at 10B Victoria Street South in Kitchener. The workshop is in the high-tech main auditorium on the 2nd floor.

Tuition is $895 CDN for physicians, $595 CDN for allied health, and $395 CDN for residents & students. Refreshments (morning & afternoon) and lunches are included.

American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) members are eligible to receive up to 36.0 Prescribed credit hours for attendance at CBT Canada’s 12.0 hour (/36.0 Mainpro+ credit) workshops due to a reciprocal agreement with the College of Family Physicians (AAFP, 2016).
