Dougie Marks BA, MSc

Dougie Marks completed his Health Psychology training in 2010, after an extensive career working across services of the Health Sector since graduating in Psychology from the University of Strathclyde in 2003.

He worked with a wide variety of health difficulties, including Brain Injury, Adolescent Psychiatry, Autism, Chronic Pain and Cardiac Rehabilitation. He was a Lecturer in Alcohol & Drug Studies from 2009 to 2014, when he moved to the School of Health, Nursing, and Midwifery as a Lecturer in Mental Health. He is a British Psychologial Society DHP-Scotland Committee member, and from 2008 – 2010 was a member of the NHS Ayrshire and Arran Health Needs Assessment Committee.
