Conference Objectives are :
• Discuss the best clinical practices for assessing, diagnosis and treating acutely ill patients. Attendees will be introduced to symptomology, diagnostic tools and treatment protocols for aortic aneurysms and dissections. Attendees will then be able to differentiate and diagnosis aortic aneurysms and dissections.
• Attendees will be introduced to symptomology, diagnostic tools and treatment protocols for acute coronary syndromes of unstable angina, NSTEMI and STEMI. Attendees will then be able to differentiate and diagnosis aortic aneurysms and dissections.
• Given a set of guidelines based on best clinical practices attendees will be able to perform a comprehensive physical exam for pulmonary patients. Attendees will also be able to develop a comprehensive treatment plan for pulmonary care based on their analysis.
• Given the results of an electrocardiogram, chest radiography students and computed tomography angiogram attendees will be able to analyze, interpret and discuss the results. Attendees will also be able to develop comprehensive treatment plans utilizing these diagnostic tools.
• Given the results of CBC and CMP lab reports attendees will be able to analyze, interpret and discuss the results. Attendees will then be able to develop comprehensive treatment plans utilizing these diagnostic tools.
