51st Annual Current Concepts in Emergency Care is organized by Emergencies in Medicine (EIM) and will be held from Dec 06 - 11, 2026 at Wailea Beach Resort - Marriott, Maui, Wailea, Hawaii, United States of America.
Ultrasound Workshops:
In addition to the premium emergency medicine lectures, EIM offers a unique, hands-on POCUS workshop.
After the overwhelmingly positive feedback from last year, we will once again be offering two parallel ultrasound tracks to give everyone a chance to hone in their skills on using ultrasound for resuscitation and nerve blocks.
Track 1: Rapid Ultrasound in Shock. Learn how to leverage POCUS to troubleshoot causes of shock and help guide next steps in the resuscitation.
Track 2: Ultrasound Guided Nerve Blocks: Learn probe placement and needle guidance techniques to block nerves in patients with hip fractures, rib fractures, and kidney stones.
The tracks will run concurrently for 90 minutes each. After 90-minutes, there will be a short break and the tracks will be run again. For no additional charge, you’ll have the opportunity to switch tracks, take the same one again to get additional practice or head out for the day!
During the registration process, you’ll have the option to select the Ultrasound Workshop – space is limited so be sure to sign up early
Registration includes:
Stress-free Registration: You can cancel your EIM registration at any time, for any reason up to 30 days before the meeting, and we will issue you a full refund of your registration fee. Cancel between 30 and 14 days prior and get refunded all but a $100 cancelation fee. Or, if you cancel two weeks before the meeting you can apply your registration towards a future EIM conference within one year.
