This 3-day Conquest of Skin Disease Course is one of the longest established and best known GP dermatology courses in the UK. It will once again be run by St John’s Institute of Dermatology, at Guy’s Hospital, London.

St John’s Institute of Dermatology at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, is one of the world’s leading centres for patients with skin disease, delivering high quality, clinical, academic and educational services in dermatology. The St John’s DermAcademy aims to provide dermatology education of the highest quality, which is clinically focused, evidence-based and tailored to the specific needs of those who attend our courses.

Who Should Attend :
The course is aimed at GPs with a range of interests and experience, including trainees fulfilling dermatology requirements of the RCGP curriculum, trainees approaching MRCGP examinations, established salaried GPs and partners looking to update their dermatology knowledge, dermatology clinical assistants, dermatology GPSIs or those with potential roles in commissioning dermatology services. The course is also suitable for physicians with an interest in dermatology (specifically medical and genito-urinary trainees).

Overall aims and objectives :
This Course provides participants with an overview of all major dermatological disorders. Emphasis is placed on practical and current management, relevant to the general practitioner. Throughout the programme clinical based studies will be used to highlight current treatments and to combine theory and clinical practice.
