65th AOTrauma Symposium-Current Orthopedic-Traumatic Challenges is organized by AOTrauma and will be held on May 04, 2018 at New MED Campus Graz, Graz, Styria, Austria. The target audience for this medical event is General surgery, Orthopedic surgery, Trauma surgery

Course Description:
Main topics of this symposium are periprosthetic fractures, chain injuries, pathological fractures and surgical amputation.

At the same time, current challenging orthopedic-traumatological topics will be dealt with in a practical way on the basis of "state-of-the-art" introductory lectures and subsequent case discussions.

Comprehensive, interactive case discussions should offer the opportunity to discuss different treatment approaches together with difficult cases and to develop concepts for successful treatment.

The knowledge about general principles of treatment will be deepened and new therapeutic approaches will be discussed.

The symposium would like to address all traumatologist and orthopedic colleagues who are confronted with difficult challenges in everyday life, or who would like to get an overview of current treatment concepts for these challenging questions.

Regardless of the level of education or experience, the event aims to give each participant the opportunity to learn from each other and broaden or deepen their knowledge.

Learning objectives:
• The aim is to give the participants a good overview of the current knowledge and the general treatment guidelines for the topics dealt with.
• Practical tips from experienced surgeons should be able to be implemented by yourself.
