OVERVIEW
41st Annual Advanced OB-GYN Ultrasound Seminar is organized by American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) and will be held during Feb 14 - 17, 2018 at Disney's Beach Club Resort, Lake Buena Vista, Florida, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is physicians, sonographers, and other health care providers who use obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound.This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 14.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Course Description:
This intense 3-day seminar will present the latest principles and techniques in obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound. The topics will be presented by leaders in the field of diagnostic ultrasound.
Course Objectives:
• Interpret the evidence related to prenatal screening and diagnostic risk assessment.
• Discuss screening paradigms and how cell-free DNA testing impacts current protocols.
• Review example cases of first-trimester screening and second-trimester options.
• Review sonograms of first-trimester fetal structural anatomy.
• Recognize appropriate criteria for nuchal translucency measurements and nasal bone visualization.
• Discuss and review pre-test patient education tools: the Genetic Education Modules (GEM).
