Orthopaedic Summit: Evolving Techniques is organized by MCJ Consulting, LLC and will be held during Dec 06 - 09, 2017 at Bellagio, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event for Arthroplasty Surgeons, Orthopaedic Surgeons Sports Medicine Surgeons, Arthroscopic Surgeons, Spine Surgeons, Trauma Surgeons, Podiatrists, Fellows, Residents, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Physical & Occupational Therapists, Athletic Trainers. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 31 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Description:
The Orthopaedic Summit 2017 will offer a diverse and international perspective on the latest techniques in arthroplasty and arthroscopy, as well as sports medicine of the knee, shoulder, hip and foot/ankle, trauma and spine. The Course will feature cutting-edge, industry-sponsored, cadaveric and live surgical demonstrations (non-CME), lunch time symposia, rapid-fire debates, and small group discussions to enhance collaborations and provide networking opportunities to enhance patient care.

Conference Objectives :
Shoulder:
• Summarize current controversial issues in shoulder surgery.
• Evaluate and create a patient's treatment plan that provides for non-operative, operative, and rehabilitation regimes

Knee:
• Evaluate treatment options for meniscal and ligamentous injuries.
• Understand controversial issues in ACL surgery.

Hip:
• Identify appropriate pathology when evaluating MRI and arthroscopic images of the hip.
• Understanding the role of the arthroscope in treating labral pathology and the most up-to-date procedures of the hip.

Elbow, Wrist, Hand:
• Understand the principles of elbow and wrist arthroscopy to safely perform across multiple pathologies.
• Evaluate and develop an appropriate comprehensive plan of care for patients presenting with elbow collateral ligament injuries.

Foot/Ankle:
• Understand the principles of ankle arthroscopy to safely perform across multiple pathologies.
• Evaluate and develop an appropriate comprehensive plan of care for patients presenting with ankle injuries.
• Understand the basic science of osteochondral lesions of the talar dome, ankle instability, and tendinopathies of the foot and ankle to appropriately determine the best management options for patients.

Trauma:
• Understand the principles of orthopaedic trauma injuries to recognize indications for surgical intervention.
• Understand principles of assessment and stabilization of traumatic upper and lower extremity fractures.

Spine:
• Understand controversial issues in cervical spine and lumbar spine injuries.
• Evaluate the evidence to identify best practice for the management of spinal deformities.

Practice Management:
• Explain the proper procedures for ethical orthopaedic coding.
• Understand provider obligations when signing as an in-network provider to an insurance company.
