Dr. Joshua Gary earned his undergraduate degree at Southern Methodist University and his medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where he also did his residency. He completed a fellowship in orthopedic traumatology at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, with additional training in Auckland, New Zealand.

Dr. Gary, who has been in practice since 2005, is board certified in orthopedic surgery and treats pediatric and adult patients. He specializes in orthopedic trauma and fractures care with an emphasis on minimally invasive treatment of pelvic and acetabular (hip socket) fractures and hip disorders in young adults. His areas of clinical interest include pelvic and acetabular fractures, complex fractures and dislocations, and malunion and nonunion surgery.

He is an active member of the Orthopedic Trauma Association and American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Gary is also an associate professor of orthopedic surgery at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) and serves on the faculty of AO Trauma, an international organization dedicated to improving patient care and outcomes in the field of musculoskeletal trauma.
