Frontiers in Upper Extremity Surgery 2017

Frontiers in Upper Extremity Surgery is organized by Foundation for Orthopaedic Research and Education, Inc (FORE) and would be held during Nov 03 - 04, 2017 at Florida Innovation & Education (FIVE) Labs, Tampa, Florida, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event for Orthopaedic and plastic surgery trained hand surgeons, general orthopaedic surgeons, fellows, residents, physician assistants, physical therapists, surgical assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other healthcare professionals whose scope of practice includes hand and upper extremity surgery. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 12.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Through a mix of didactic presentations and interactive debates, the expert faculty for this live CME activity will update you on treatment options and outcomes for a variety of common and complex hand and upper extremity conditions. The first day of the meeting will be devoted to a hands-on cadaver lab where you will practice hand and wrist procedures that involve plating, internal bracing, and arthrodesis. Come to the meeting with the questions you need answered to advance your practice – you’ll have plenty of opportunities to engage with the faculty.

Conference Objectives are :

• surgical and nonsurgical principles of managing common hand and upper extremity problems
• common problems and complications associated with distal radius fractures
• enhanced management of fractures, Dupuytren and arthritis problems
• current trends and techniques in microsurgical and soft tissue reconstruction in the upper extremity
• current concepts for common disorders of hand and upper extremity
• strategies for the treatment of the shoulder, including: rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability, and wrist fractures
