Mark S. Rekant MD

Dr. Rekant completed his undergraduate education Magna Cum Laude at Duke University and Medical School at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - New Jersey Medical School on a full academic scholarship.

He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at New York University Medical Center - NYU Medical School after a general surgery internship. Dr. Rekant fulfilled his specialty training with a Hand and Upper Extremity Surgical Fellowship with The Philadelphia Hand Center and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Dr. Rekant is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University. Attending Physician at Lourdes Hospitals, Burlington and Camden Divisions, Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Hahnemann Hospital, Department of Orthopedic Surgery, and also at Virtua Hospital of Burlington, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Division of Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery.
