Philip Blazar, MD is an attending on the Hand and Upper Extremity Service and an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School. He is board-certified with a hand subspecialty. He graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Medical School. He completed his orthopedic residency and hand surgery fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Blazar's clinical and research interests include Dupuytren's contracture, distal radius fractures and their surgical treatment, the surgical treatment of arthritis of the hand and wrist, and upper extremity nerve injury, compression, and surgery. He is the fellowship director for the Harvard Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery Fellowship.
