Focused Meeting: Antimicrobial Resistance and one Health 2017

Focused Meeting: Antimicrobial Resistance and one Health is organized by Microbiology Society and would be held during Aug 29 - 30, 2017 at Maynooth University, Kildare, Leinster, Ireland.

Delegates to this meeting will gain an overview of the concept of antimicrobial resistance from the perspectives of environment, animal and human. The presentations will include the use of next generation sequencing and traditional microbiology tools and data analysis tools to demonstrate how they can be used in the investigation and understanding of antimicrobial resistance in different contexts. This meeting will provide researchers and policy-makers with the potential to network and form to strengthen collaborations across Ireland and the UK.
