OVERVIEW
Focus on Women's Health CME Conference 2017 is organized by Southern Medical Association (SMA) and would be held during Jul 17 - 20, 2017 at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, Kiawah Island, South Carolina, United States of America. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 21 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Updated practice guidelines have recently been released related to the care and treatment of female patients. Providers of care need to stay up-to-date on the broad array of changes taking place in this field. This activity is designed to detail evidence related to diagnosis, management guidelines, prevention strategies, and new as well as controversial therapies of common diseases relevant to women's health across the lifespan with an emphasis on practical clinical knowledge. The broad range of interdisciplinary topics will include commonly encountered medical problems of women. On Monday and Thursday, the group will meet in a combined plenary session to review women's health topics of interest to both primary care and specialists. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the group will breakout into OB/GYN and Primary Care tracks for specialized education.
