OVERVIEW

Ethics at the End of Life is organized by The Intensive Care Society (ICS) and would be held on Jun 12, 2017 at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Chesterfield, England, United Kingdom.

Dealing with critically ill patients poses ethical questions such as : who should be admitted, how long treatment should be continued and how decisions on futility are made. There are also practical issues such as ensuring comfort and dignity in the transition from an intensive, to a palliative phase in treatment. This seminar, comprising of lectures from recognised experts, local expertise and group discussion, aims to explore some of these issues with delegates drawn from the whole critical care team.

Additional details will be posted as soon as they are available.
