Julie Ann Hayes PhD, MA, PGCE

Julie Ann Hayes is a Senior Lecturer within the School of Nursing and Allied Health. She is a registered nurse with experience ranging from General Medicine and Surgery to Intensive Care and High Dependency Nursing. Her teaching expertise is within Medical Law and Ethics and she teaches across several programs within the faculty and module leads in the BSc and MSc programs. Julie is a member of the Faculty Research Ethics Panel FREP, a Member of the Northwest BACCN Committee, and also is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Julie commenced her Ph.D. in 2012 following the successful completion of the MRes at LJMU and she completed her Ph.D. in 2016. Julie's research interests are Professional Conduct, Fitness to Practise, and Case Study research.
