Course Description:
This event will focus on the new NHS England initiative ‘Enhanced Supportive Care’ (ESC). It will provide guidance on how to deliver ESC successfully and the story behind its implementation.

The initiative encourages care teams to address more fully the needs of cancer patients – in particular, preventing and managing the adverse physical and psychological effects of cancer and its treatment.

• Managing symptoms in patients on active anti-cancer treatment

• Rebranding of palliative care
