OVERVIEW
Advances in Fetology : How innovation and technology are influencing delivery of fetal care is organized by Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) and would be held during Oct 27 - 28, 2017 at Liberty Center Sabin Hall, West Chester, Ohio, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event for obstetricians/gynecologists, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, neonatologists, pediatric neurologists, developmental pediatricians, genetic counselors, social workers, ultrasonographers, nurses and fetal center coordinators. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 10 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
The focus of this year’s conference will be how innovation and technology are influencing the delivery of fetal care to the patient. Questions of access, expectations of consultations, and system support of rare disease episodes will be discussed.
We have regional, national and international experts scheduled to speak about ethics of access, minimally invasive MMC repair and FETO, prenatal screening technologies, nursing care delivery in fetal therapy programs, and the impact of fetal intervention on the NICU. Updates in the more common diagnoses like CDH and TTTS will be given. We will demonstrate imaging strategies to help determine plan of care for patients with MMC and TTTS along with CDH treatment strategies from patient triage to evaluation for surgery to bed-side care optimization.
Residents and Fellows are encouraged to attend. There will be poster sessions for residents, fellows, and staff to present their own related research, both clinical and basic science with an award given to best poster in each of 3 categories: attending physician, physician in training, non-physician medical (nurse, genetic counselor, social worker, sonographer, etc.).
