Emmanuel Mike J. Vlastos MD, FACOG

Dr. Mike Vlastos has led the team to become one of the leading fetal care centers in the country. He is an assistant professor at St. Louis University School of Medicine who is also certified in advanced cardiac life support, advanced trauma life support, and neonatal resuscitation. Dr. Vlastos received his M.D. from Creighton University. He did his residency in family practice at the University of Wyoming, his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota, and his fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. He is triple board certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Family Practice.
Dr. Vlastos is engaged in extensive clinical research including researching intrapartum management of maternal or fetal complications and laser application to fetal tumors. He has earned multiple clinical and teaching awards, and shared his cutting edge research, in the form of published articles, lectures, and presentions at conferences.
