31st Annual Fall Conference on High Risk Obstetrics is organized by Symposia Medicus and would be held during Oct 05 - 07, 2017 at Harrah's New Orleans Hotel and Casino, New Orleans, Louisiana, United States Of America.
The target audience for this medical event is basically for Pediatric and Emergency physicians, nurse practitioners, PAs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in the clinical care of children. This CME conference has been approved with 19 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Our 31st Annual Fall Conference on High Risk Obstetricsis designed for physicians, certified nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, PAs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who face challenges in the care of the high risk pregnant patient. The goal of this conference is to increase knowledge and enhance the competence of attendees. Emphasis will be placed on practical application of the evidence-based topics presented.
Objectives:
• Manage the pregnant patient with hypertension
• Develop a plan to reduce postpartum complications in extremely obese women
• Identify clinical strategies to reduce pregnancy-related deaths
• Manage the pharmacologic treatment of intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP)
• Recognize the short and long-term effects of preeclampsia
• Identify the most common causes of respiratory distress in pregnancy
