2nd Annual Inova Capital City Sports Medicine Summit is organized by Inova Health System and would be held during May 12 - 13, 2017 at Hotel Washington, Washington, District of Columbia, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event for n Orthopaedic Surgeons, Primary Care Sports Medicine Physicians, Other Health Care Professionals That Treat Athletes, Physical Therapists, Athletic Trainers, Sports Medicine Physician Assistants.

This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 14.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Physicians may claim up to 14.5 credits in Type 1 CME on the Virginia Board of Medicine Continued Competency and Assessment Form required for renewal of an active medical license in Virginia.
Inova Health System has submitted an application to be approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to offer continuing education for Certified Athletic Trainers. If approved, this program would be eligible for a maximum of 8.25 Category A or Evidence Based Practice CEU hours.

Evaluate evidence based guidelines in practice; keeping abreast of new and emerging information and how to incorporate this into practice.

The diagnosis and management of football related injuries has dramatically changed over the past decade. This 2 day interactive course will feature regionally and nationally acclaimed sports medicine specialists from top NFL and NCAA football programs. This Summit will focus on the latest, evidence-based approach to the diagnosis and treatment of football related injuries. There will also be a historical perspective from our panel of highly experienced longtime team physicians, athletic trainers, players and physical therapists.
