Lee D. Kaplan MD

Lee D. Kaplan, MD, is the Director of the UHealth Sports Performance and Wellness Institute at the University of Miami. The Institute is a collaborative, multidisciplinary effort incorporating many scientific, clinical, and research components. He is a tenured Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and also holds faculty appointments in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Department of Kinesiology and Sports Sciences. Dr. Kaplan is the Chief of UHealth Sports Medicine and serves as Medical Director/ Head Team Physician for the University of Miami Athletic Department and Medical Director for the Miami Marlins Baseball Team.His articles have been published in numerous medical journals in the United States, Canada and abroad
