Dr. Casolaro received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his medical degree from Georgetown University. He completed his Internal Medicine training at Grady Memorial Hospital and Emory University. He received his Pulmonary Desease training as a recipient of a National Research Service Award at the National Institutes of Health.
Subsequently he was Clinical Chief of the Pulmonary Branch at the National Institutes of Health. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University. He authored numerous papers and textbook chapters in the field of Pulmonary Medicine. Dr. Casolaro serves as President of the Medical Staff at Virginia Hospital Center. He is currently team physician for the Washington Redskins.
