Neurology Update - A Comprehensive Review for the Clinician 2016 is organized by Cleveland Clinic Foundation Center for Continuing Medical Education and would be held during Aug 05 - 07, 2016 at The Ritz-Carlton, Washington, District of Columbia, United States of America. The target audience for this medical meeting basically for neurologists, internists and family practice physicians, physician assistants, nurses and others involved in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders.

The 7th Annual Cleveland Clinic Neurology Update is on behalf of the Neurological Institute at the Cleveland Clinic they would like to welcome you to our annual course and hope you find it valuable in your continuing care of patients with neurological disease. Several new changes will be taking place this year. They continue to modify the course based in large part on changes in the field and evaluations from prior participants. The course will also continue to offer SAEs (self-assessment evaluations) credits which are required for Maintenance of Certification through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

This year they are included key areas in neurology including topics in acute stroke management, concussion, back pain, neuroradiology, epilepsy, Parkinson’s, brain tumor, sleep, and neuropathy.

Learning Objectives :
Upon completion of this activity, the participant will be able to :
• Define an approach to the assessment and management of concussion
• Describe a case based approach to the management of back pain
• Apply new approaches to the management of complex epilepsy patients
• Review the use and management of the newer medications used for multiple sclerosis
• Differentiate the various dementias and appropriate treatment strategies
• Assess the various headache syndromes and treatment of refractory patients6.
• Discuss what’s new in neuro-oncology for 2016
• Recognize Parkinson's disease from its look-a-likes
• Review the neurologic presentation of infectious organisms including the Zika Virus
