Global Cancer : Occurrence, Causes, and Avenues to Prevention

The major themes of this landmark conference are structured around the core activities of the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and cover global cancer occurrence, etiology, and prevention as well as implementation of prevention and early detection. The conference will feature keynote lectures from eminent international cancer researchers, as well as smaller themed workshops and symposia for which contributed papers and poster presentations are invited. The programme also includes three debates on controversial issues together with "big picture" lectures linking cancer, science, and society.
