OVERVIEW
The conference 'Focus on the Female Patient Conference 2016' is organized by Southern Medical Association (SMA) and would be held during July 18-21, 2016 at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, Kiawah Island, South Carolina, United states.
The target audience for this medical event are basically for Physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses specializing or certified in the areas of women’s health, gynecology, obstetrics, internal medicine, family or general medicine, geriatric medicine, emergency medicine, and preventive medicine should attend this conference.
This activity is designed to detail evidence related to diagnosis, management guidelines, prevention strategies, and new as well as controversial therapies of common diseases relevant to women’s health – across the lifespan – with an emphasis on practical clinical knowledge. This CME conference has been approved with 21.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Objectives :
Through a combination of evidence-based didactic lectures, case presentations, and faculty and audience Q&A and interaction, attendees will have the opportunity to gather and exchange information regarding current and emerging treatments in the top health threats and common complaints particular to women. After participating in this activity, participants should have increased knowledge and be more competent to:
- Review and discuss diagnosis and management of diseases and conditions with special emphasis on women’s health
- Examine issues of concern within the specialty areas of obstetrics and gynecology in the management of female patients
