Ultrasound Spinal Procedural Techniques in Pain Medicine 2015

Objectives: To improve knowledge of normal cervical, thoracic and lumbosacral spine and paraspinal anatomy, discuss common abnormalities seen with spine sonography, facet joint radiofrequency neurotomy, provide guide for effective billing strategies for ultrasound-guided spine procedures. Demonstrate and train the following spine injection techniques: Cervical medial branch, Cervical selective nerve root, Cervical sympathetic (stellate ganglion), Thoracic epidural, Thoracic paravertebral, Thoracic medial branch and z-joint, Costo-transverse joint, Lumbar interlaminar and transforaminal epidural, Lumbar median branch and z-joint, Lumbar sympathetic, Lumbar paraspinal muscles (EMG), Caudal epidural, SIJoint, Superior hypogastric plexus and Facet joint radiofrequency neurotomy
